A Baseball Tee

Hello! I decided to have a little fun by pairing my new polka dot baseball tee with a gingham shirt. I love this look! I'm also super excited about my new shorter haircut and my new lip color!

It's the smaller things that make me happy.

Playing with Patterns

Hello All! Hope everyone had a fantastic weekend! Today, I played with patterns by pairing stripes with floral and leopard. I wear a lot of stripes, one of many obsessions, so I try to mix up my looks by combining a pop of color or patterns. I loved the way my black & white henley popped with the purple pants. The floral scarf tied the look together with the hints of purple in the scarf.

Purple Gingham

                      

Hello All! I'm back with another gingham post. Lately I've been a little uninspired by my outfits so I haven't been taking any photos. I wore this outfit, last week to go thrifting. It was a breezy Spring day so I wore light layers. I combined my purple gingham shirt with a navy sweater, which look sheer in the pics, and leopard flats. This outfit is basically my spring uniform. When all else fails, I layer a gingham shirt with a sweater, cardigan or scarf. I also wore an olive green quilted jacket over the outfit, which I should have taken photos of because the colors looked great together. Oh well, maybe next time! Hope everyone is having an amazing weekend.

Purple, Stripes & Floral

There's a lot going on with this outfit but somehow it works. Well, atleast in my mind it did. My amazing hubby surprised me with this awesome purple (my favorite color) peacoat from J Crew. He said he picked it up as a christmas gift but couldn't wait to give it to me since he knew I would love it. I was so excited, I think I made have did a happy dance!! Of course, I started wearing it immediately and you would be surprised how versatile it is. Today, I paired it with a gray striped shirt (this is becoming a pattern), beige cords, a floral scarf, cognac ballet flats and a simple necklace. The entire outfit is from J Crew, minus the scarf which is Target.
