Thrift Finds: Silk Scarf

Thrifting has become a little hobby for the hubby and I. My hubby usually sells his finds on eBay but every once in a while we may find some keepers. One thing I love finding are silk scarves like this gorgeous Hermes one. It's a beauty and I just had to showcase it!!! Seriously, who would get rid of this?

 I was super excited when I found this scarf but I've been struggling with how to style it.

So far I've worn it tied to my bag, which I love, but would like to incorporate it with my outfits more. Any ideas?

Keeping It Casual

Another casual look on the blog today. The summer is all about simple and casual looks for me. One of my go to looks for the summer are striped t shirts. I paired this striped t shirt with one of my favorite items in my closet: my green army jacket. I kept the look simple with  understated jewelry. I'm loving the casual, care-free look this outfit presents.

Just a White Tee

Hello Everyone! It's been a crazy month but I am back with an outfit post. Yesterday, I had to run a few errands and then attend a barbecue so I wanted to look casual but put together. I chose to wear a white t-shirt with a statement necklace. First let me say, I love white t shirts!! I just can't get enough; especially on those hot summer days when I don't feel like being bothered. On those day, I  almost always reach for a crisp white tee.

But back to the outfit: I don't wear my bubble necklace often but when I do, I am quickly reminded of how it can transform an outfit. I threw on my pink flats for an extra punch of color. Super simple but perfect for running around on a sunny weekend day.

Hope everyone has an amazing week! As for me, I will be counting down the days until my summer vacation (3 more weeks).
